| Yahoo! Answers: FedEx disrupting my education? Can I sue them? Please help!? I have been waiting for my books to arrive for cyber school since Wednesday, September 1st. They attempted to deliver them to my dad's house, but everybody is at work and my school requires a signature. The first day, they arrived at 2:50 pm. The next day (Thursday), I went to my dad's house to wait for the packages but they had come at 12:24 pm. On Friday, I called at 7 am to ask them to hold the packages but was told they were already on the truck to be delivered. I waited all day and still, no delivery. I called and was told that they had been held since 7:58 am. Since this weekend was labor day weekend, I called today (Tuesday) to pick up my packages since they were still being held. The main building directed me to the home delivery section and said I could indeed pick them up before 5 pm. I drove about 30 minutes to pick them up and was told they were celebrating their holiday today and were closed, with no notice on the door or phone. Here it is, one week after school has started and I am still unable to do any of my school work from the lack of my textbooks. Is there any legal action I can take towards FedEx?? (Sorry it was so long!) If you're just going to be an ignorant prick about it, don't bother answering. You're just wasting your time and making yourself look pathetic. |
| What you have experienced was really terrible. I know that every customer only wants to get proper and satisfying service from FedEx. Well I think you have the right to take any legal actions due to disapproving service they do. It would be better to see a lawyer who can give you proper advice regarding this matter. I really do hope that you can resolve the issue. I know that you are just concern of your education, of course. |
