Best University for Psychology? - Schools
| Best University for Psychology? I am about to become a high school senior and I need to begin to apply to colleges. I would really love to study psychology with an emphasizes on counseling. I live in Florida and it would be preferable to stay in-state but I would not mind going out of state if it means for the best education and opportunities. Thank-you for you guidance! Oh and feel free to give me any advice about the career. I have done some research but it would be great to here some personal experiences. |

I don't know what the BEST school is, but being a working adult I chose an online psychology doctoral program that had the required accreditation for my state (Washington State) and seemed to have the most rigorous and worthwhile curriculum. I am almost 3 years into the program now and really enjoy it, although it is a ton of work every week.I am on this site to find out how others attending doctoral programs manage an internship while working fulltime - this is a tall order since becoming a clinical psychologist requires a 2 year internship! | I am glad that you are determined to take up Psychology in college. As for me, it is really a big choice. Anyway, it has a wider scope and you'll get plenty of opportunity when you graduate choosing Counseling as your specialization. There are a lot of good Psychology schools in the USA. I would like you to see this link and check the best Psychology universities. Some are outside Florida. |
