Any SAHMs ever went to working part time? - Schools
| Any SAHMs ever went to working part time? I have a 17 month old and a 2.5 year old. I have a degree in elementary education. The school district I live in is hiring a few part time reading teachers for a reading intervention program. The hours are 18 hours a week.......3 days a week, 6 hours a day. The pay is $21.00/hour. I think I would like the job, but would be kind of nervous about committing myself for the entire year (I wouldn't want to start then quit). I have a good friend plus grandparents who would babysit. Anyways if you ever went from being a SAHM to working part time did you enjoy it or hate? Was it hard keeping a babysitter and did you have a hard or easy time getting your kids up and out the door in the morning? |
