On-Campus Living & Learning at UM-Flint

Thank author of this post/commentwww.umflint.edu In 2008, the University of Michigan-Flint opened the doors of its first on-campus living facility: the First Street Residence Hall. The state-of-the-art living/learning environment is home to over 300 UM-Flint students. In 2009, building upon the first-year success of the First Street Residence Hall, Riverfront Residence Hall opened to an additional 200 students. In the years ahead, Riverfront Residence Hall will be home to a total of 500 students from all four of Flint's institutions of higher learning.

What are the living facilities like? Can you post some pictures of the bedrooms. Are they shared, or not. Are there cooking facilities or are all meals provided in a mess hall type of arrangement. Can special diets be catered for in this facility. What is situation regarding laundry. How close are these residences to the local town and to shopping centres.

On-Campus Residency has always something good to give for students. I also find it more advantageous because I can focus well on my studies. I was just fortunate enough because my school has plenty of good facilities, and they really want to satisfy students who are under on-campus living.

I was pleased to hear those thoughts from the students of the University of Michigan-Flint. They are all so privileged.

On campus residency is one good way to make sure that your kids will be more concentrated with their studies and school activities. It would be not that of an advantage if they will travel everyday just to go to school. And some good schools are far from home, in cities. So on campus residency is one good way to make sure that they are not that tired of driving home and vice versa.
