Answers: residency for school?

Thank author of this post/commenthmm i want to go to a university out of state. I was planning to go to a community college near the university for a year or more first to get residency. won't that work? i won't be living on campus because it's just a community college. i'd be staying in an apartment and also working. if i do that for at least 365 days then won't i be considered a resident when i apply to the big university?

On campus residency is a great idea. Most especially if your kid is a little strong headed and would just walk out of the class room if they are not in the mood to listen with the lesson. This kind of schooling is also a great way to introduce discipline with your kids in the sense that they would be able to learn how to take care of themselves. ciao..

If I were to choose, I would prefer on-campus residency when I go to a college school because I can concentrate well and I can stay longer in school to finish my projects and other works. I think it is a great chance for me to be independent as well and not to depend all things to my parents. My college school has plenty of opportunities and with full security so I think I'll grab it.

I prefer on-campus residency when I was in college. It's helpful to me because I can concentrate well in my studies. Moreover, I can easily get updated if there are meetings, group projects and other school related activities. I also became independent and responsible for my own things. After college, I saw myself differently. I believe that I can handle everything in my own ways. This point of my life, it's easier for me to adapt in my new environment.

When I was in College I am staying in a campus residence and having that college life I really finished my studies successfully. I can compare it with my school mates who stay in an exclusive apartment, yes they have all the time to go for night out. Unlike me I need to follow the rules of the campus but in spite of that limitation I realize that it made me to become better. I learn to become independent and how to sacrifice for a big reward in the end that is to finished my chosen profession.

Hi there,

It is really a good feeling seeing people that really makes education a passion. I am a teacher and I know how important teaching to students could be. I have been teaching for many years already and the happiness that one can get when he or she learns something is worth a million money.

Thank you so much to all of you guys and have a great day to all.
