| what are some jobs/volunteer work involving kids? i'm 18 and going to major in childhood education. i've never had a job before, so no experience. i want to know if there are jobs that involve kids so i can get some experience before i become a student teacher or something. jobs like tutoring or daycare, but can't get a job since i have no experience at all. so maybe at least volunteer? so what are some jobs/volunteer work involving kids?? preferably during weekends. oh, and i'm from New York. Queens area. |
| I still believe that being a teacher is the noblest job in the world. Hence, if you want to work involving kids it is better to be a teacher. In that way, you can impart your thought and experience to them. You can help honing their mind to become better citizens in the future. Teaching is Passion, and it comes naturally from you. | You could try doing some babysitting for friends, but do it more like a substitute teacher rather than just sitting the kids in front of TV while you waste the hours away. If that works out, there are plenty of actual babysitting companies you could become attached to to get even more work. Moving on from there to assisting in a kindergarten, many kindergartens will take on assistants with no credentials. |
| I do love kids and would surely love to work with them. And one way that I thought would work for me is to take a course that can make me a pre-school teacher. I am still working on my studies at the moment. And by the time that I graduated, get that license for handling kids, I am hoping to become one of the best pre-school teacher ever. So excited! |
