Questions: Does education make people more robotic, inflexible and less artistic

Thank author of this post/commentIn my experience the more educated amongst us appear more robotic, inflexible and less artistic. is it that education (mainly science based), sets the mind in a mold which requires every input to be processed in a set learned pattern, and if it falls outside of that pattern it cannot be processed so is then categorized as nonsense.
