I was always a poor student in a regular classroom setting. Are there some goals that will help me learn effectively in a distance learning situation?

"Effective Study Attitude in Distance Learning"
Distance learning programs are a little different from normal classroom situations. In both cases there is some classroom time and some individual study and assignment time. But, the individual study time in a distance learning (or an on line) graduate program is a lot longer. Instead of a night to complete some homework in a school classroom setting, you have to do a series of tasks and your schedule is measured in months. As an adult, we have learned from experience how to keep our goals, our outcomes, as more important for ourselves. To succeed with these kinds of adult learning programs, you have to keep your outcome in mind as you work on each task and as you move from task to task. • Page 1 (Original Post) •
